One of the most popular spots on Broad Street, now owned by Chase Hill and Dan Adams โ€” two guys who served on the same team at Fort Bragg. They took over in 2023 and haven’t messed with what works.

The menu is built around solid American tavern food โ€” bison burgers, brisket, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes. The drink list has been called one of “America’s Great Bourbon Bars,” and it backs that up. Dog-friendly patio, live music on weekends, big TVs for games.

It’s not a place that advertises its military connection. It’s just a good bar run by people who happened to serve.
