The World Golf Hall of Fame moved back to Pinehurst in 2024 — back to where it was founded in 1974 — and now lives inside the USGA’s Golf House Pinehurst campus, right next to The Cradle. Even if you don’t golf, it’s worth an hour.

The second floor is a locker room honoring all 160+ inductees, each with a dedicated display of personal gear and artifacts telling their story. Bob Jones’ Spalding 2-wood. Jack Nicklaus’ MacGregor bag from the 1965 Masters. Johnny Miller’s clubs and championship medal from his 1973 U.S. Open win at Oakmont. The first floor houses USGA Museum and Library artifacts — the most comprehensive collection of golf history in the world.

The building itself is worth seeing. Check hours and admission before you go.
